NintendoLife

...absolutely brilliant action/puzzle experience as well that's as much fun to play as it is to watch. Combine all of this with the sizable layer of replay value afforded by the hidden Power Picks and Goal Times, and what you have is one of the most unique and enjoyable titles to hit the WiiWare service this year and a release more than worth your 1000 Wii Points.

DIY Gamer

Overall, I was impressed with Frobot's simplistic yet addictive gameplay that had me returning for more time and again. There's a lot of gameplay to be had here, especially for fans of the old Zelda games.

Platform Nation

Often in these types of retro games the multi-player experience suffers from "Tacked -On Syndrome" but Frobot really shines with up to four players in an all out, last bot standing dance-fest. Even though the story mode is fantastic, "multi-playa" is where the crazy fun is.

Single Playa

Frobot is programmed to make love, not war, but when his five foxy girlfriends get botnapped he doesn't skip a beat takin the fight to the streets. Blast your way up from the Funkytown Slums to the BotBlocker HQ and get back what's yours!

Weapons

The Energy Blast bounces off two walls before it self destructs. It can be used to destroy enemies, activate generators, and open doors.
The Dynomine is a remote mine. Press the A Button to place a Dynomine. Press the A Button a second time to detonate the Dynomine.
The Robo Hustle isn't really a weapon but allows you to quickly dash past dangers. Press the C Button while holding a direction on the Control Stick.
The STUD missile will destroy cracked walls, boxes, and most enemies. Energy blasts have no effect on the STUD missile.
The Jive Stalker can be controlled by pointing the Wii Remote. Similar to an energy blast it can destroy enemies, activate generators, and open doors.
The Bass Bomb is a grenade that can be thrown over walls. Press the A Button to equip the Bass Bomb and press the A Button again to throw it.
The Heartstopper Shield allows you to block incoming energy blasts from enemy Frobots. Press the Z Button to equip and unequip it.
